Drawing has always been considered one of the arts par excellence: from here the best masters have created works of great delicacy but inestimable greatness.<\/p>\n

And more and more projects are dedicated to it, as evidenced by two fair events that have just ended: these are WopArt and Milan Drawing Week.<\/p>\n

Born from the need to create a space for this art, for its connoisseurs and lovers, WopArt reaches its sixth edition this year at its headquarters in Lugano, in the Canton of Ticino.<\/p>\n

It is an opportunity to learn about drawing from the great masters to contemporary art: among the works that contributed to its creation, there were several watercolors by Hermann Hesse, thanks to the collaboration with BNP Paribas Swiss Foundation Collection.<\/p>\n

Another all-Italian opportunity to discover the art of drawing was the week dedicated to it in the Lombard capital: the first edition of the Milan Drawing Week was held from 20 to 28 November.<\/p>\n

Organized by the Ramo Collection, a Milanese art center, it intends to retrace the design through fifteen stages around the city: from the great masters to contemporary artists, Milan implements a real dialogue between contemporary and modern, thus creating a precedent.<\/p>\n

The first debut of the Milanese fair features figures of the caliber of Domenico Gnoli, of whom we have spoken here<\/a>, Mario Merz, Giorgio De Chirico and emerging contemporary artists such as Magdalena Suarez Frimkess, Costanza Candeloro, Stefano Arienti.<\/p>\n

Both proposed events want to introduce the public to the variety of the world of drawing: although at the basis of the art of many artists, it has often been left in the background over time, but is now making a journey to conquer the dignity it deserves.<\/p>\n
